Halifax police seek help finding woman missing since October

Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help finding a woman who was last seen in October.

Police say 50-year-old Kim Norris was last seen October 19, 2015 leaving a shelter in Halifax.

Norris is known to travel throughout Canada, and has worked as a labourer in the construction industry.

Investigators have been searching for her for several months, and have reached out to other police agencies to try to track her down. She has not yet been located.

Kim Norris is described as a white woman with long dark hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black ball cap with white lettering, blue jeans and black work boots with white laces. She was carrying several backpacks.

Police say there is no reason to believe she has met with foul play, but police want to speak with her to confirm she is okay.

Halifax police ask Kim or anyone who might know where she is to contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
