Two men are dead following separate shootings in Toronto on Wednesday evening.
One man died after being shot in the city’s west end at about 6:30 p.m. near Kipling Avenue and The Kingsway.
Police say the victim – a 42-year-old married father of two children – was found in a garage and pronounced dead at the scene.
Det. Sgt. Joyce Schertzer says anyone in the area who heard or saw anything suspicious is asked to call police.
Police are also asking for witness to come forward in the second shooting in east end Toronto.
A man believed to be in his 40s was declared dead at the scene at Morecambe Gate and Victoria Park Avenue and a second person was wounded and taken to hospital.
No arrests have been made as police hunt for at least two suspects they believe fled the area.
Police say they also responded to a third shooting call around midnight in the area of Highway 401 and Allen Road.
No injuries were reported after gunshots were allegedly fired inside a car parked in a driveway on Varna Drive.
No suspects have been identified.
