KELOWNA, B.C. – Dillon Dube scored on a penalty shot, a highlight of the first period in a fast paced 7-4 win for the Kelowna Rockets against the Prince George Cougars Tuesday night on home ice.
Nick Merkley and Justin Kirkland each took two on the night, while Calvin Foote and Lucas Johansen scored one a piece for the Kelowna win.
The Rockets improved their record to 31-11-3-0 on the season, coming within one point of the top team in the WHL.
Kelowna hosts the Tri-City Americans Friday and Medicine Hat on Saturday.
