WINNIPEG — Winnipeggers hoping to check out hospital wait times and nearby emergency departments, can now do so with a mobile app.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) launched a new mobile app for iPhone called ‘Connected Care’. The app allows users to search for health services such as hospitals and community health programs in the city.
“The WRHA remains committed to ensuring that the public, and our staff, have the best possible access to health service information,” said Jeanette Edwards, regional director, Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease, WRHA. “Being able to find the most appropriate care with a literal touch of a button will be invaluable to Winnipeggers.”
The app is free and can be downloaded in Apple’s app store.
