DORVAL – A proposed condo tower is making waves in Dorval.

The tower would go on the corner of Cloverdale Avenue and Lakeshore Drive; it would have more than 60 units.

But not everyone is happy about the development.

Financial news and insights delivered to your email every Saturday.

Louis Plante bought his house in 1978 and insisted the tower would hide his home from the sunlight.

Others, like attorney Maria Battaglia, pointed out that the proposed building would be in keeping with the environs, and offer a much needed influx of business to the area.

A public consultation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11.
