TORONTO – Police have released security camera images in hopes of identifying two men who allegedly beat and robbed another man after an argument on a TTC bus.
The incident took place on Nov. 26, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. aboard a bus travelling south on Jane Street toward Lawrence Avenue.
Police said the two men were playing loud music on the bus when another male passenger asked them to turn down the volume.
The two men “became very agitated” and started yelling and swearing at the other rider, police said.
The passenger exited the bus at Lawrence Avenue, and the two men allegedly followed him off. The suspects then attacked and robbed the other man before fleeing on foot, according to police.
The first suspect is described as 18-25 years old, 5’7″, with a medium build, blonde/brown hair, unshaven, last seen wearing a black Blue Jays baseball cap and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect is described as 18-25, 5’7″, with a thin build, short black hair, clean-shaven, last seen wearing a black Moose-Knuckle jacket with a fur hood.
