Vancouver New Year’s Eve celebration at Canada Place 

The countdown to 2016 is on. For the first time in a decade, Vancouver is hosting a free outdoor New Year’s Eve bash at Canada Place.

Approximately 15,000 people are expected to make their way to the family-friendly celebration — which will include live music and a fireworks display — and there will be thousands more throughout the downtown core.

The musical lineup will feature headliner Current Swell along with We Are the City and The Matinee.

Global BC will be live at Canada Place for New Year’s Eve festivities. You can watch a livestream above from 11 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
