RELVESTOKE — An Alberta man, who is believed to have gone snowmobiling by himself, has been missing for two days.

Travis Allen Brown, 42, last spoke with his family on Saturday, December 5, saying he was going to go snowmobiling alone.

His family tried contacting him that afternoon but his cell phone was turned off. He was expected to return to his Drayton Valley home on Monday, but has yet to arrive.

RCMP were alerted to Brown’s red 2006 Dodge Ram truck parked at the Boulder Mountain parking lot.

Brown is described as:
– Caucasian male
– 6 feet tall (185 cm)
– 170 lbs
– blonde hair and brown eyes

He is believed to to be wearing:
– bright green Helly Hansen snowmobile outfit with green leaf pattern
– new motorcross-style helmet
– green camo googles

Brown is believed to have been riding a red and white 2014 Polaris RMK.

A search and rescue crew has been called and is in the initial stages of searching the area.

RCMP is asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts or have had any contact with him wtihin the past 48 hours to contact Revelstoke RCMP (250-837-5255) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
