A large fire is burning at a Richmond auto shop, but crews say it is under control and there are no reported injuries.
The fire is in Richmond Continental Auto at Cambie and Vanguard Road. It started shortly before 4 p.m., and it’s believed paint may have fueled the flames.
The fire could be seen from far away, with a thick cloud of dark smoke lifting high into the sky.
Everyone was able to evacuate the building safely. Traffic is blocked in the area until further notice.
