MONTREAL – The STM has unveiled its budget and the good news is – there won’t be a fare hike.
The bad news is the freeze will only be in effect until July, 2016.

At that time, the financial situation will be re-evaluated.
A monthly pass will continue to cost $82 and a single ride will stay at $3.25.
Last year was a difficult one for the STM after the public complained about the reliability of the buses and the shortage of drivers.
