Should all bridges in Montreal have tolls?

MONTREAL – A new report released Monday morning suggests that all bridges and tunnels in Montreal should have tolls.

The report, conducted by Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission, said adding tolls would be better for the city, for the environment and for Montrealers in general.

The commission said tolls would significantly reduce the number of cars on the road during peak hours by encouraging commuters to use different modes of transportation.
