Hilltops claim PFC championship with 38-16 victory over Colts

SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Hilltops hosted the Calgary Colts in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) final Sunday afternoon. After four quarters on the gridiron, the Toppers were victorious 38-16 at SMF Field.

Sunday’s game was a rematch of last year’s PFC final where Saskatoon also claimed the conference title.

The Hilltops were led by Logan Fisher who rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while quarterback Jared Andreychuk was seven for 17 with one touchdown pass.

The Colts handed the Hilltops their only loss of the regular season on Oct. 11.

The Hilltops advance to the Canadian Bowl. They’ll battle the Okanagan Sun to defend their 2014 national championship in Saskatoon on Nov. 7.
