MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – A 41-year-old woman has died in hospital and her son is facing murder charges in a suspected domestic assault, according to Peel Regional Police.
Peel paramedics responded to a call at 5:48 p.m. Saturday on Southfork Drive near Mavis and Britannia roads.
They found 41-year-old Vaishali Patel unresponsive with serious injuries and transported her to hospital, where she later died.
Her son, 20-year-old Kunal Bhavan, has been charged with second-degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in court Sunday.
