Riders send Jerome Messam to the Stamps

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders made another trade Wednesday, sending running back Jerome Messam to the Calgary Stampeders.

In return the Riders will receive kicker Tyler Crapigna, a 3rd round pick in the 2016 CFL draft, and the rights to a negotiation list player.

Messam is currently second in the CFL with 826 rushing yards, and he also added two touchdowns this season.

Crapigna was originally drafted by the Stamps in 2014 and the McMaster product is the CIS all time leader in field goals with 84.
