TORONTO – A female pedestrian is dead after being pinned under a car in Mississauga Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Seneca Avenue and Lakeshore Road East.
Peel police said the victim was found without vital signs and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police had initially said the vehicle was a truck.
Lakeshore Road East is currently closed between Shaw Drive and Cayuga Avenue for the police investigation.
