BROSSARD – The pit-bull type dog that attacked a young girl in a Brossard park last Sunday has been put down.
According to Longueuil police, the dog’s owner gave permission to euthanize the dog Wednesday after the 8-year-old girl was savagely bitten and scratched on her face, neck, head and arms.

She’s already undergone reconstructive surgery on her face and head.
Officials said she will have to undergo years of surgery for her injuries.
There’s no word if the dog’s owner will be charged.
