Prince Albert police charge 3 in armed robbery

Prince Albert, Sask. police have charged three teenage suspects after an alleged armed robbery during the early hours of Saturday. At around 1 a.m. CT, officers were initially called to an assault in progress in the 900-block of 16th Street West.

Upon their arrival, police located a 23-year-old Prince Albert man who said he was robbed.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and has since been released.

Police located an 18-year-old woman, a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy and have charged them with robbery with a firearm.

All three suspects are from Saskatoon and are scheduled to appear Monday in Prince Albert provincial court.
