Calgary police investigating suspicious death at NW motel

Homicide detectives were called to the scene Monday of a suspicious death near the North Hill Shopping Centre.

The body of a man was discovered in a room at the Banff Trail Motel on 16 Avenue N.W. at about noon.

Investigators and the medical examiner are trying to determine whether the death was criminal in nature.

With the investigation in its early stages, police released no further details.
