Police say a 15-year-old freshman at a high school in California repeatedly punched a substitute teacher after being asked to put her cell phone away.
The attack happened Friday at Roosevelt High School in Fresno.

Cell phone footage captured by another student, and posted to social media, shows the teacher being hit repeatedly.
“She hits him really hard. It’s the type of punch that can knock someone out,” Fresno Police Department‘s Lt. Joe Gomez told KGPE.
The student has been charged with a felony count of assault and two misdemeanor counts. She also faces possible punishment at the school.
