WEST KELOWNA–Three people were taken to hospital and traffic was backed up for over an hour after a multi vehicle crash onHighway 97 in West Kelowna Saturday afternoon.

Crews were called to the scene at Highway 97 and Boucherie Road around 2 p.m.
A Nissan sedan, which appears to have been in the middle of the three–vehicle pileup, was heavily damaged.
There’s no word on the condition of the occupants.
