UPDATE: All the signs were taken down just before 12 p.m. Friday.
MONTREAL – Wizardry students from Montreal won’t have to make the long trip to England to catch the Hogwarts Express.
Students from Université de Montréal‘s engineering school, École Polytechnique, gave several stations on the metro’s blue line a Harry Potter makeover.
Metro stations between Snowdon and Jean-Talon had their signs replaced with ones that said Platform 9 3/4.
The signs come just as the next generation of wizards is set to go back to school, with famed Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling keeping the world updated on all the news.
The STM has not said if this has disrupted service for the city’s muggle population.
