WATCH: Raw footage after a man is found dead in his car.
MONTREAL – A 22-year-old man was shot dead in his car late Thursday night.
It happened around 11:15 p.m. on Fortin Avenue near Gouin Boulevard East in Montreal North.
Police received a 911 call after a passerby heard a shot fired.
They found the body of the man, who appeared to have suffered from a gunshot wound to his upper body, in his car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“He is a man who is know to police,” said Anie Lemieux with Montreal police.
“So far there are no arrests and investigators are still looking for a suspect.”
This is the city’s 18th homicide of the year.
