TORONTO — Beyonce is Queen Bey no more — at least on Instagram. The Grammy award winning superstar has been bumped as the most-followed Instagrammer by, who else, Kim Kardashian West.
The 34-year-old reality TV star, made famous along with her family on the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has more than 44 million followers. She surpassed Beyonce as most-followed user on the photo-sharing social media platform on Monday.

Kardashian West, who is married to rapper Kanye West, is currently pregnant with their second child. She racks up the likes and the followers by mainly posting selfies.
Recently Kardashian got nearly two million likes on a nude photo showing her baby bump. The post was in response to critics who suggested she was faking her pregnancy.
Here is the list of the top five most-followed users on Instagram:
1. Kim Kardashian West — 44.1 million
2. Beyonce — 43.9 million
3. Taylor Swift — 43.5 million
4. Selena Gomez — 41.8 million
5. Ariana Grande — 41.7 million
The only man to break the top-ten list of most-followed Instagram users was Justin Bieber. The Canadian singer placed sixth on the list, with just shy of 40 million followers.
