CALGARY – Marcia Andreychuk and Joel Hamilton have been slowly transforming the kitchen in their home into a replica of the one inhabited by Marge and Homer Simpson – the popular cartoon TV family which has been on the air for 26 seasons.

Andreychuk says she and Hamilton are both fans and it was an easy decision to make.

Renovations began at the beginning of the year.

So far, the cupboards are a match with oversized, cartoonish cabinets and doorknobs.

Andreychuk managed to find a perfect match for the corncob curtains above the kitchen sink.

She still has a wish list that includes avocado green appliances and an orange slimline telephone.
