The event takes place on NDG Baseball’s Championship Day Saturday, Aug. 15 at Loyola Park.

“All my relatives, all my friends and a lot of people that I haven’t seen for years will be there, so I’m looking forward to that.”

The award recipient said he’ll even get back to his roots and umpire a few innings of a U-12 Little League game in the NDG Baseball Major Championship.
