WATCH: Aerial footage of a grey whale sighting near Stanley Park
A grey whale was spotted off the Third Beach area in Stanley Park this morning.
The whale, that was seen swimming alone, drifted close to the shore line toward the Siwash Rock.
Vancouver Aquarium says they will be keeping an eye on the whale throughout the day and monitoring it from shore when possible.
If you spot a grey whale or any cetacean, you can report the sighting with the aquarium’s new app. See how here.
