Summary: Liberal David McGuinty has represented this riding since 2004. He is seeking a fifth term.

Boundaries: This suburban riding stretches south to the airport. Gloucester, Hawthorne Meadows, Elmvale Acres, and Rideau Park are among the neighbourhoods here.

Last Election: Liberal McGuinty won with 44.0 per cent of the vote, followed by Conservative Elie Salibi with 33.3%.

History: This riding was created in 1988. It has only had two MP’s, Liberal John Manley from 1988 to 2004, and David McGuinty, from 2004 to present.
