Federal Election 2015: Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan riding results

Real time live results available on Monday, October 19 2015 after polls close. Overall results will be available here.

Summary: A riding that used to be home to the majority of three different ridings, longtime Conservative MP Tom Lukiwski is running for re-election in this essentially new electoral district.

Boundaries: Anchored by Highway 11, this riding generally comprises the areas between Saskatoon and Regina. It also includes Moose Jaw and the towns to its immediate southeast, and Highway 16 to Quill Lakes.

Last Election: This is a new seat created from the rural areas of Blackstrap (which elected Conservative MP Lynne Yelich by 17.6 per cent in 2011), Regina-Lumsden-Lake Centre (which elected Conservative MP Tom Lukiwski by 17 per cent) and Palliser (which elected Conservative MP Ray Boughen by 2.3 per cent).

Lukiwski is the Conservative running in this riding. Had it existed in the last election, the Conservatives would have taken it by 29.5 per cent more votes than the NDP (based on polling results), because the NDP received the vast majority of their votes in Saskatoon and Regina, while the Conservatives received most of their votes in the rural areas outside the cities.
