MONTREAL – Two men are dead and two others remain in critical condition after an overnight assault on Saint-Laurent Boulevard early Sunday morning.

At around 3:10 a.m., police who were patrolling the Main noticed four men who appeared injured.
Two men had what seemed to be gunshot wounds, while the two others had injuries consistent with stab wounds.
All four men, between the ages of 20 to 30, were transported to hospital.
Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture told Global News that the fourth victim is stable.
A conflict between two groups seems to be the origin of the armed assault.
