UPDATE: Terrace Search and Rescue say Gray’s body was found at the bottom of Tchesinkut Lake yesterday.
Burns Lake RCMP have partnered with Search and Rescue to look for an overdue 17-year-old boater.
Bryce Gray’s boat was found empty and missing the motor in the early morning hours on the shore of Tchesinkut Lake on July 29. Gray was last seen at about 1 p.m. on July 28 and has not been heard from since.
Mounties along with SAR, RCMP Air Services, community volunteers and a canine unit are involved in an extensive search of the lake and surrounding area.
Burns Lake RCMP are asking the public for any information about Gray’s location, or can help in the search, to call the detachment at 250-692-7171 or Crime Stoppers.
