Suspect in Lasalle cell phone robberies behind bars

MONTREAL – Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of robberies in Lasalle.

Khadim Toure Tall faces eight charges after allegedly using a fake gun in order to steal cell phones from unsuspecting victims (usually teenagers).

The charges include armed robbery, carrying a fire arm (or fake weapon) for dangerous purposes, carrying a concealed weapon and possessing stolen property.

The suspect is 21-years-old, 6 feet tall and 155 lbs.

Investigators are still searching for other possible victims and encourage anyone with information to call Info-Crime at 514 393-1133.
