REGINA – A fire in North Central is being called suspicious by the Regina Fire Department.
Fire crews arrived to the 1300 block of Athol Street early Wednesday morning. Flames and smoke were seen in the house, but firefighters were able to quickly get the blaze under control.

The house was a vacant rental property and for that reason alone the fire department is calling it suspicious. They hope to know the cause by Wednesday afternoon.
Most of the damage to the home is in the kitchen.
