Paul, 35, will star opposite British actress Annabelle Wallis, 30 in the drama about a man searching for his missing girlfriend after discovering she is not who he thought she was.
Whedon, whose writing credits include episodes of Deadwood, Southland and the Vancouver-shot Fringe, wrote the script for Come and Find Me.
Paul is best known for playing Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, which ended its five-season run in 2013. He was in B.C. late last year to make the thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax opposite Jamie Dornan and Canada’s Sarah Gadon.
