Kelowna man charged with second-degree murder

KELOWNA – A charge of second-degree murder has been laid in a Kelowna homicide investigation.

RCMP serious crime investigators arrested Daniel Garth Ruff, 62, Monday. He appeared in court Tuesday and remains in custody.

Ruff is accused of murdering Warren Welters.

The 51-year-old was found dead inside his Bernard Avenue residence on June 14th. Police have not revealed the cause of his death.

Ruff returns to court July 10th.
