Sask. man charged with drugging, sexually assaulting 7-year-old girl

REGINA – A 43-year-old Saskatchewan man is facing a number of child pornography charges in connection with the assault of a seven-year-old girl, and investigators believe there could be more victims.

Michael John Slough was arrested in Willow Bunch, Sask. on the afternoon of Thursday, June 18 following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE).

Slough has been charged with:

  • Administer Noxious Substance
  • Sexual Assault x2
  • Sexual Interference x2
  • Make Child Pornography x2
  • Possession of Child Pornography

The alleged offences occurred in Saskatoon between December 2009 and January 2010. Investigators say they have identified the victim and that she is “being cared for in a safe and healthy environment.”

Investigators also believe there are other adult female victims who still need to be identified.

In addition to his old charges on September 14th Police have added additional charges to Slough:

  • 26 counts of Sexual Assault;
  • 11 counts of Voyeurism;
  • Seven counts of Administer a Noxious Thing;
  • Seven counts of Administer a Stupefying Drug to commit a sexual assault; and
  • One count of Unlawful Confinement.
