PUNNICHY, Sask. – RCMP are now investigating a 43-year-old Saskatchewan man’s death as a homicide. On June 3, officers received a report about a deceased male at a residence in Punnichy, Sask.

RCMP attended the scene and found the victim in a shed on a residential private property in the 500-block of 5th Avenue. Investigators believed his death was suspicious in nature last week.

An autopsy conducted Monday in Saskatoon confirmed he was the victim of homicide.

RCMP have not released his name. He is from Gordon First Nation.

At this time, no charges have been laid.
