Police searching for missing woman with Alzheimer’s disease in Toronto

Toronto Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

Police say Hisaka Goto, 67, went missing Friday morning at about 11 a.m. in the Jane St. and Finch Ave area.

A spokeswoman with Toronto Police said they were setting up command posts to locate Goto and that there is a “whole fleet of people going out there shortly to help in the search.”

She is described as Japanese, 5’3″, with a medium build, short black hair with grey strands, thick eyebrows and a mole near her right ear.

Goto was last seen wearing a waist-length green military style coat, a white shirt with dark stripes, blue jeans and brown sandals.

Police are concerned for her safety and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
