REGINA – The Regina man accused of a violent sexual assault behind the Hotel Saskatchewan just last month, is now facing two new charges of sexual assault.
According to police, surveillance video caught a suspect touching a 45-year-old woman inappropriately at a store along the 3800 block of Sherwood Drive on January 16th.
Then, on February ninth, police responded to a business in the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue for reports of a sexual assault against an employee.
A 27-year-old woman says that a man had touched her in a sexual manner without consent which was caught by surveillance video as well.
Police say the suspect is also accused of stealing a bottle of liquor from a store in the 1800 block of Broad Street on April 15th.
24-year-old Kenton Arnold Desjarlais was arrested Tuesday and now faces two charges of Sexual Assault and one charge of Theft Under $5,000.
He was also charged for Aggravated Sexual Assault after allegedly choking a 28-year-old woman unconscious before sexually assaulting her in May.
He appeared in court on the new charges Wednesday morning.
