MONTREAL – Police have arrested a 29-year-old woman in connection to a suspicious death in the Ville-Marie borough.
A 54-year-old man was stabbed Wednesday night just before 7 p.m. in an apartment on Robillard street near Saint-André street.
He had wounds to his upper body.
The man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“But we don’t know what her relationship is with the victim or why she did that.”
Police also spoke to two men, considered to be important witnesses.
They have since been released.
Officers confirmed the victim was found in an apartment building where police frequently respond to disturbance claims.
An autopsy on the victim will be performed in the coming days.
