WINNIPEG – Whoever is sending suspicious packages to court facilities in Manitoba seems determined to reach them all.
Manitoba RCMP say 17 court offices in Manitoba have now received the odd items in the mail.
The incidents began April 8th when emergency crews were called to 5 court houses including the main Law Courts building in Winnipeg, plus Morden, Brandon, Minnedosa and Thompson.

Investigators found that the packages contained no dangerous chemicals, and had originated in China. But police won’t say any more about what the packages contained or what is known about who sent them.
A Manitoba RCMP spokesperson couldn’t say late Wednesday which additional Manitoba court facilities had received suspicious packages.

Similar items began appearing in the mail this week at court houses in Nova Scotia.
