B.C. dealing with wacky weather – Snow, rain, hail and some sun

WATCH: Fort St. John images of the unexpected and late spring snow

VANCOUVER – It appears some wacky weather is hitting B.C. today.

Parts of the Lower Mainland were hit by rain and showers this morning, but northern B.C. was dealing with a dump of snow.

Global BC meteorologist Mark Madryga, says today is going to be a weird day.

Due to the unstable air mass, many parts of B.C. are going to get some thunderstorms today. Hail has already been recorded in Vancouver.

Our viewers sent us photos of the snow in their region – from Fort St. John, Charlie Lake, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Prince George and Hudson’s Hope:

Not every part of the province was dealing with snow and rain however. Some areas saw sun this morning, however, that may change later in the day.
