REGINA – A police investigation that started in Regina has led to a grisly discovery north of Balcarres.
The body of a 34-year-old man was found near the town that is just east of Regina.

Police say the investigation began in the Queen City last Thursday and led officers to the area.
The Office of the Chief Coroner along with Major Crimes and the Forensic Identification Unit are now involved in the investigation.
