Alberta Election 2015: NDP’s Barb Miller wins Red Deer-South

The riding of Red Deer-South will be represented by the NDP’s Barb Miller. PC MLA and former intergovernmental affairs minister Cal Dallas has held this seat since 2008, but announced earlier this year he wouldn’t seek re-election.

This riding containing the the areas in Red Deer south of the Red Deer River (excluding areas north of 50th Street to the west of 30th Avenue, and north of 39th Street east of 30th) has exclusively elected PC candidates since it was created in 1986.
