The paparazzo accused of striking actor Ryan Reynolds with his car is facing multiple charges.

Rik Fedyck, 52, of Richmond, B.C., has been charged with criminal harassment, assault with a weapon, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Reynolds, who was in Vancouver this month to film the movie Deadpool, accused Fedyck of striking him with his car in the underground parking lot of the Shangri-La Hotel on April 10.

Police said there was a confrontation between Fedyck and Reynolds before Fedyck left and allegedly hit the Vancouver-born celebrity.

Reynolds suffered minor injuries and was back at work the next day.

Fedyk has declined comment to Global News, but told The Province that “Ryan Reynolds was not hit by a car” and said reports about the incident are “100 per cent false.”

Fedyk was scheduled to appear in Vancouver Provincial Court Tuesday.
