TORONTO — If you have ever dreamed of spending some time with mutants, here’s your chance.

Producers of X-Men: Apocalypse are looking for guys to appear as extras.

The latest chapter in the X-Men movie franchise will be shot this summer in Montreal, mostly on the soundstages of La Cité Du Cinéma.

Casting agents are currently seeking fit, athletic males with shaved heads (or males willing to shave their heads).

All ages and ethnicities are sought but black males and those with Arab, North African, Armenian, Moroccan or Mediterranean backgrounds are especially wanted.

X-Men: Apocalypse, directed by Bryan Singer, stars Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Olivia Munn, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac and Michael Fassbender.

The cast also includes Sophie Turner, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Ben Hardy, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lucas Till and Alexandra Shipp.

The film’s working title is Akkaba (the name of a cult in the Marvel universe). It is scheduled to be released in May 2016.

Last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past was also filmed in Montreal. It earned nearly $750 million at the box office worldwide.
