When emergency crews arrived they found a 2015 Ford Mustang and a 2014 Infinity Q50 with heavy damage. The police estimated the cost of the cars to be more than $70,000.

The witness told police that both vehicles appeared to be speeding towards the turnaround and failed to stop or turn in time, causing them to go straight off the end.

Officers have ruled out impairment.

The drivers were issued tickets for driving without due care and attention.
