MONTREAL – A Quebec man was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening a family with a running chainsaw in what police called a road rage incident.
The frightening scene, captured on video, happened around 7 p.m. Sunday evening in Saint-Jérôme.

The video shows Manuel Delisle, 36, wielding a chainsaw and yelling at occupants of a car.
“You like this, hey?” Delisle yelled.
Children inside the car are heard screaming.
Karine Cyr, who was a passenger in the car, recorded the incident on video and posted it to her Facebook account. It quickly went viral.
“There are crazy people it would seem, even in Saint-Jérôme,” reads part of the video description.

Cyr’s husband, Alexandre Hermenier, told Global News they were cut off by the driver.
They followed him to report him to police.
Minutes later, Delisle pulled into a dead end, at which point he got out of the car and confronted the family with the chainsaw.
“We called the police, buddy, OK? You’re going to be arrested. OK, your chainsaw. Come on. Come on,” Cyr said in the video.
Delisle, who is an arborist, was charged with assault with a weapon and is due in a Saint-Jérôme courtroom Tuesday morning.
