SASKATOON – Erykah Badu and Lights will be headlining the 2015 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival. Organizers announced Wednesday the first two headliners for the 29th summertime festival, with more to come over the upcoming days.

Both musicians are scheduled to perform on the TD Mainstage at Bessborough Gardens.

Four-time Grammy winning American singer Erykah Badu will play on June 25 with a special guest.

Toronto’s Lights performs on July 3 with Dear Rouge from Vancouver and Saskatoon’s own Close Talker. Lights will be bringing her electropop-style music and is fresh off of winning a 2015 Juno for pop album of the year – Little Machines.

The 29th edition of JazzFest along the South Saskatchewan River take places from June 25 to July 5. Tickets go on sale March 31 at 10 a.m.
