TORONTO – The Ontario Energy Board has approved decreases in natural gas rates for Enbridge and Union Gas customers.
The board says a typical residential customer with Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. can expect to see their bills go down about $100 per year.
Union Gas Ltd. customers can expect to see a decrease of between $116 and $168, depending on where they live in Ontario.
The board also approved a decrease last week for Natural Resource Gas Ltd., which will decrease bills by $43 a year for the average residential customer.
The new rates take effect April 1.
