SASKATOON – Chad Butcher and Trevor Cox both scored in the second period as the Medicine Hat downed the Saskatoon Blades 3-1 Friday. Dryden Hunt opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first for the Tigers (44-23-4).

Nick Zajac answered with a goal in the first for Saskatoon (19-48-4) as it dropped its eighth game in a row.

The Blades will conclude the season Saturday against the Tigers in Medicine Hat, Alta.
